Streaming as a job is very new in my country. Being a Malay and importantly female has everyone question how reliable am I as one. There are many kinds of streamer. You could be a food streamer, even ASMR streamer, any kind of your choice. I chose to be a gaming video live streamer. I started out of nowhere. Never a gamer, never an entertainer. I developed myself as one. How do i grow? From people who actually interested to see my progress. I don’t market myself as a pro player neither pro gameplay in my stream. “People come for your face”. Who am I to decide their intentions. I’m just trying to make a living out of this;streaming, a thing that I passionate about. Yes, I earn from it. How? Nothing to do with viewership but how much my viewers value me. Did I beg for it? Never. I consider myself as an entertainer. Not a beggar. I even do the marketing for myself for side jobs. I never believed in ‘cable’ and such. Whatever you see is all me. Organic. People see and believe what they want to. I share nothing about the pain because I believe, it’s worth it :)
